Shipping & Returns Policy

[1. Shipping]

All items purchased from M&B's Battery Company will ship via FedEx or United States Postal Service (USPS) from Harrison, Ohio. M&B's Battery Company ships only within the United States. The shipping charges provided to you at checkout are an estimate based on your zip code and the approximate weight of the items ordered. Actual shipping charges, therefore, may be different. If the actual shipping cost of your order is at least $5.00 greater than the estimated shipping cost provided to you at checkout and printed on your initial invoice, M&B's Battery Company will contact you for approval before completing your order.

The time required to process and ship your order is dependent on the payment method you choose:

  • If paying by credit card, M&B's Battery Company will process and ship your order immediately.
  • If ordering by purchase order, M&B's Battery Company will process and ship your order only after your purchase order has been approved.


In most instances, M&B's Battery Company will ship out your items within 1-2 business days of receiving your payment details. M&B's Battery Company makes every effort to ship your order to you as timely and efficiently as possible, according to the schedule above. However, in some cases your order may either require additional time and/or multiple shipments (please see [2. Backorders] below). 

 

[2. Backorders]

Although M&B’s Battery Company makes every effort to keep inventory information on mbsbattery.com updated and accurate, occasionally an item will not be available for immediate shipment. When an item is backordered such that we cannot fulfill your order within a reasonable time frame, you will be notified via e-mail and your order will be held on record until the item is ready to ship. This e-mail will include an estimated date of when the item is expected to be back in stock. If your order contains multiple items, some of which are backordered, we will use multiple shipments OR ship your items together, per your specified preference.

In some limited instances, when backordered items are of a sufficient quantity or lead time before they will be shipped to you, M&B’s Battery Company may immediately cancel your order before contacting you to ensure that your payment method is refunded as quickly as possible.



[3A. Receipt of Damaged, Insufficient, or Incorrectly Fulfilled Orders; Required Notice]

M&B’s Battery Company requires written notice of any damaged, insufficient, or otherwise incorrectly fulfilled order within three (3) business days from your receipt of that order. Failure to deliver such timely notice may, at our discretion, impact your ability to replace, return, or be refunded for the contents of your order.

For the purposes of sections [3A.] and [3B.], notice must be sent by the e-mail associated with your order and the account of purchase to info@mbsbattery.com

[3B. Mistakenly Placed Orders; Required Notice]

M&B’s Battery Company requires written notice of any mistakenly or incorrectly placed order by the customer (this includes “unwanted” orders) within seven (7) business days from your receipt of that order. Failure to deliver such timely notice may, at our discretion, impact your ability to exchange, return, or be refunded for the contents of your order. 

 

[4A. Returns; RMA]

To return items purchased from mbsbattery.com, you must first obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from M&B's Battery Company. To obtain this number, you must contact us either by e-mail at info@mbsbattery.com or by phone at 1-800-949-0667 with the details of your requested return. One of our customer service representatives will respond to your request within five (5) business days.

We will not accept or provide credit for any returned items without a valid RMA clearly marked on all returned packages.

[4B. Returns; Condition of Items & Original Packaging]

To be eligible for return, all items must be in the same new, unused condition that they were shipped to you, and with all relevant per item packaging (plastic wrappers, cardboard, terminal covers, etcetera). Additionally, all items shipped to you in labeled/branded manufacturer boxes must be in their original, undamaged (i.e., cardboard should be intact without significant cuts, punctures, stains, or other markings) boxes and packaging.

[4C. Returns; Shipping & Shipping Costs]

If M&B's Battery Company authorizes the return of an item, you are responsible for paying shipping and insurance costs from its location to us. However, if the return is the result of any negligence on the part of M&B's Battery Company, we will take responsibility for paying the shipping costs.

After receiving, processing, and approving your returned item, we will generally issue an exchange or refund (per your request) within seven (7) business days. You will be notified by e-mail when this occurs.

[4D. Returns; Special Order Items]

Any order totaling $200 or more (excluding shipping costs) is considered “Special Order” and is, therefore, subject to a 15% per item restocking fee. Multiple orders by the same customer for the same item within a ten (10) day period will be aggregated and treated as a single order when determining restocking fee applicability.

Please note that the 15% restocking fee is waived if 1) the return is the result of any of the reasons listed in section [3A.] or negligence on the part of M&B’s Battery Company, OR 2) the order total is less than $200 (excluding shipping costs).

[4E. Returns; Defective Items]

A defective item is only returnable and refundable if it is considered defective under the manufacturer's warranty. M&B's Battery Company assigns to our customers any warranties we receive from the manufacturers of the items sold on mbsbattery.com.
